PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust silencer capable of easily switching between a city area travel mode of making an exhaust sound amount small and a circuit travel mode of making the exhaust sound amount large and enabling increase of output.SOLUTION: An exhaust silencer 10 has an exhaust pipe 11 including an exhaust passage 11A configured to discharge exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine 1, and a container 20 that includes a volume chamber 21 connected to a branch part 14 in the middle of the exhaust pipe 11 and communicating with the exhaust pipe 11A. The container 20 includes an opening part 23 capable of opening/closing the volume chamber 21 to an external space, and also includes opening/closing means 30 of switching the opening part 23 between an open state and a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
