PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain wave gearing that, with a structurally-simple configuration, functions in a more reliable manner.SOLUTION: A strain wave gearing has a wave generator 1 rotatably supported in a radially-flexible sleeve 2 with external teeth, and has a first rigid hollow ring gear 9 with internal teeth, which has a meshing portion in a state of meshed engagement with an external meshing portion of the radially-flexible sleeve with external teeth, and a second rigid hollow ring gear 12 with internal teeth, which has a meshing portion similarly in a state of meshed engagement with the external meshing portion of the sleeve. The wave generator is supported relatively rotatably to the sleeve via a singular radially-flexible rolling bearing 3, in which a. the rolling bearing has an external ring 18 that is in a state of directly contacting with first rolling elements 5 of a first rolling element row 4 and second rolling elements 7 of a second rolling element row 6, and b. the rolling bearing has an internal ring 13 that is in a state of directly contacting with the first rolling elements of the first rolling element row and the second rolling elements of the second rolling element row.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】構造的に簡単な構成で一層信頼性をもって機能する波動歯車装置を提供する。【解決手段】波動歯車装置は、外歯付きの半径方向に可撓なスリーブ2内で回転可能に支持されているウェーブジェネレータ1を有し、外歯付きの半径方向に可撓なスリーブの外側噛合部と噛合部が噛合係合状態にある内歯付きの剛体の第1中空リング歯車9と、スリーブの外側噛合部と噛合部が同様に噛合係合状態にある内歯付きの剛体の第2中空リング歯車12を有する。ウェーブジェネレータが、半径方向に可撓な唯一の転がり軸受3を介して、スリーブに対して相対的に回転可能に支持されており、a.転がり軸受は、第1転動体列4の第1転動体5及び第2転動体列6の第2転動体7と直接的に接触状態にある外側リング18を有し、b.転がり軸受は、第1転動体列の第1転動体及び第2転動体列の第2転動体と直接的に接触状態にある内側リング13を有する。【選択図】図1
