PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of operators needed for the cutting operation of a handrail shaft and to reduce a burden on an operator in an escalator handrail shaft cutting support structure.SOLUTION: The handrail shaft cutting support structure includes: an upper fixing member that is hung and fixed to the top surfaces of two moving handrails; a first connecting member connected to the upper fixing member and a handrail drive shaft in the state of pulling each other; and a cutting device engaging member. The cutting device engaging member has: an annular member that is connected to the upper fixing member; and a cutting support part that is hung and connected to both-side parts with the lower end of the annular member set as a boundary. The cutting device engaging member can press the blade of a cutting device to the handrail drive shaft in the state of bending a U-shaped part formed at the lower end of the annular member passed through the bottom side of the handrail drive shaft, inserting the grip of the cutting device into the inside of an insertion part formed by the U-shaped part and the cutting support part, and engaging the grip with the cutting support part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】エスカレータの手すり軸切断支持構造において、手すり駆動軸の切断作業に要する作業者の数を少なくし、かつ、作業者の負担を軽減することである。【解決手段】手すり軸切断支持構造は、2つの移動手すりの上面に掛け渡して固定される上側固定部材と、上側固定部材と手すり駆動軸とに引っ張り合う状態で連結された第1連結部材と、切断装置係合部材とを含む。切断装置係合部材は、上側固定部材に連結される環状部材、及び、環状部材の下端を境界として両側部分に掛け渡され連結された切断支持部を有する。切断装置係合部材は、環状部材の下端部に形成されるU字形部が手すり駆動軸の下側に通過されて上側に曲げられ、かつ、U字形部と切断支持部とで形成される挿入部分の内側に切断装置の把持部が挿入され、切断支持部に把持部が係合された状態で、切断装置の刃部を手すり駆動軸に押し付け可能である。【選択図】図4
