PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device for on-vehicle power supply capable of turning a switch, provided between two power storage devices, more reliably.SOLUTION: A first system 71 includes a generator 1, a power storage device 21 charged by the generator 1, and a vehicle load 51 that is supplied with power from the power storage device 21. A second system 72 includes a power storage device 22 and a vehicle load 52 that is supplied with power from the power storage device 22. A separation switch 43 is connected between the first system 71 and second system 72. Control circuits 311, 321 output temporary control signals S31, S32 for controlling the separation switch 43, respectively. A logic circuit 11 turns the separation switch 43 ON, when both temporary control signals S31, S32 indicate ON. The control circuits 311, 321 output the temporary control signals S31, S32 indicating ON, while the generator 1 is generating power, and output the temporary control signals S31, S32 indicating OFF, when a determination is made that ground fault has occurred.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
