PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel rudder that is capable of increasing the lateral force of the rudder when a steering angle is taken while suppressing the increase of rudder resistance, and a vessel.SOLUTION: A rudder shape changing line La is provided to a side above the vicinity of a propeller center shaft Pc in the side view of a vessel rudder 10. Regarding a rudder sectional shape, blade sections are formed between a front edge 13 and a narrow start line Ls1 and between the front line 13 and a second narrow start line Ls2, a fist narrow part Rn1 in which a width equal to or less than 50% of a rudder maximum width Bra on the rudder shape changing line La is a maximum width is formed between a rear edge 11 and the narrow start line Ls1, and a second narrow part Rn2 in which a width equal to or less than 50% of a rudder maximum width Br at the height is a maximum width is formed between the rear edge 11 and the second narrow start line Ls2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】舵の抗力の増加を抑えつつ、舵角を取ったときに発生する舵の横力を増大させることができる船舶用舵及び船舶を提供する。【解決手段】当該船舶用舵10の側面視で、プロペラ中心軸Pcの近傍より上側に舵形状変化ラインLaを設け、舵断面形状に関しては、前縁13と第1狭小幅部開始ラインLs1との間及び前縁13と第2狭小幅部開始ラインLs2との間を翼断面で形成して、後縁11と第1狭小幅部開始ラインLs1との間を、舵形状変化ラインLaにおける舵の最大幅Braの50%以下の幅を最大幅とする第1狭小幅部Rn1として形成し、かつ、後縁11と第2狭小幅部開始ラインLs2との間を、その高さにおける舵の最大幅Brの50%以下の幅を最大幅とする第2狭小幅部Rn2として形成する。【選択図】図1
