PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive wheel supporting structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle, which allows tension adjustment to be easily carried out without vertical movement of an axle and can reduce the size of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive wheel supporting structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle 1 comprises: winding means 10 transmitting driving force of a power unit E to a drive wheel RW: a pair of right and left axle supporting arms 20 formed with elongated holes 22 for adjustment that extend along the longitudinal direction of the winding means 10, and with mounting seat surfaces 21a around the elongated holes 22 for adjustment; and an axle 30 inserted through the elongated holes 22 for adjustment. In the drive wheel supporting structure, collar members 40 each having a cam surface 40a parallel to the axial direction of the axle 30 are disposed on the axle 30, and the axle supporting arms 20 are provided with tapered surfaces 21t that are inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the elongated hole 22 for adjustment and abut against the cam surfaces 40a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
