PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display method enabling an occupant to recognize a surrounding condition of an own vehicle at a glance.SOLUTION: A display method includes steps of: detecting distances between an own vehicle and an obstacle respectively in plural directions different from one another when viewed from the own vehicle (S11); calculating a contact risk for each of the plural directions on the basis of the distance between the own vehicle and obstacle (S14-S16); generating an image including a contact risk display zone that displays a contact risk for each of the plural directions in directions corresponding to plural directions of surroundings of a reference position that corresponds to a position of the own vehicle (S17); and displaying the image on image display means disposed within the own vehicle (S18).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
