PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inviting the attention of a driver who is under an inappropriate cognitive load and estimating the driver's condition.SOLUTION: The steering angle of a moving car is detected, and a vibration component generated by delay of steering of a vehicle is taken out from a detection signal. If the vibration component taken out is higher than a predetermined threshold value, the cognitive load of the driver is estimated to be in an appropriate state and the driver's attention is invited based on the result of estimation to prevent an accident.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】ドライバーが不適切な認知的負荷の状態にある場合に、その状態を推定すると共に、ドライバーの注意を喚起する方法を提供する。【解決手段】運転中の車の操舵角を検出し、検出信号から車のハンドル操作の遅延に伴って生じる振動成分を取り出し、取り出された振動成分の値が予め定めた閾値を超えたときに、ドライバーの認知的負荷が不適切な状態にあると推定し、事故を未然に防止するため、推定結果に基づいてドライバーの注意を喚起する。【選択図】図8
