PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a vehicular brake which has, for example, a new constitution with less inconvenience.SOLUTION: A vehicular brake, for example, includes: a rotary member rotated by a motor; a direct-acting member which directly acts according to the rotation of the rotary member; a thrust surface provided at a housing or at a member supported by the housing; and a pressing member for pressing the rotary member to the thrust surface. The thrust surface is a surface for receiving a reaction force applied to braking from the rotary member during braking of wheels. The pressing member imparts an axial force to the rotary member into the thrust surface side, when the direct-acting member moves toward a non-braking position in which the wheel comes into a non-braking state from a braking position in which the wheel comes into the braking state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
