PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trouble diagnosis apparatus for a hybrid vehicle, in which trouble diagnosis for an emission discharge suppression apparatus may be carried out in a state where drive point of an engine is retained in a monitor region even under a case where battery reception property of a traveling battery is reduced, while traveling battery is protected by restriction in target battery charging power.SOLUTION: When execution requirement for trouble diagnosis in exhaust sensor LAFS is accomplished during traveling under series mode, an engine is driven in a target drive point within a previously set monitor region to carry out trouble diagnosis. At that time, if it is determined that battery reception property which should restricts battery charging power to a traveling battery is reduced, the drive point of the engine is switched to load reduction direction and gets out from the monitor region. Therefore, by reducing rotation speed while keeping filling efficiency of the engine, the trouble diagnosis may be carried out while retaining the drive point in the monitor region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】走行バッテリの電池受入れ性の低下時においても、目標充電電力の制限により走行バッテリを保護しつつ、エンジンの運転点をモニタ領域内に保ってエミッション排出抑止装置の故障診断を実施できるハイブリッド車両の故障診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】シリーズモードでの走行中に排気センサLAFSの故障診断の実施条件が成立すると、予め設定したモニタ領域内の目標運転点でエンジンを運転して故障診断を実施する。このときに走行バッテリへの充電電力を制限すべき電池受入れ性の低下判定が下されると、エンジンの運転点が負荷低下方向に切り換えられてモニタ領域を逸脱してしまう。そこで、エンジンの充填効率を保ちつつ回転速度を低下させることにより、運転点をモニタ領域内に保って故障診断を実施可能とする。【選択図】図3
