PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety or comfortableness of a plurality of users whose moving directions and moving velocities can independently change.SOLUTION: A notification device comprises: a determination part for determining whether or not a first portable terminal and a second portable terminal are coming close to each other within a prescribed distance range in a prescribed period of time by using first information about a current position of the first portable terminal and a current velocity vector of the first portable terminal and second information about a current position of the second portable terminal and a current velocity vector of the second portable terminal; and a notification part which, if it is determined that the first portable terminal and the second portable terminal are coming close to each other within the prescribed distance range in the prescribed period of time, notifies of the fact that they are coming close to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
