PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine, a hoisting machine and an elevator each having improved performance and capable of maintaining high rigidity.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine according to an embodiment includes a shaft, a winding, a stator core and a rotor core. At least one of the stator core and the rotor core includes a first member and a second member each formed circular and overlapped one on another in the axial direction of the shaft. The first member includes a slit-like first insulation portion provided in the axial direction. The second member includes a slit-like second insulation portion provided in the axial direction. The first member and the second member are integrally connected with each other while the first insulation portion and the second insulation portion are disposed at positions different from each other in the rotating direction of the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
