PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle having an electric drive apparatus which can be continuously used without narrowing a board-in space and a cargo chamber even if the vehicle receives a collision.SOLUTION: A vehicle having an electric drive apparatus including a battery 14 comprises: a front bulkhead 7 of a board-in space 3 of a vehicle; a pair of fore-and-aft extension members 8, 9 which are arranged in front of the front bulkhead 7, and at left and right sides; and left-and-right connecting members which are arranged in front of the front bulkhead 7, and connect a pair of the fore-and-aft extension members 8, 9. The battery 14 is arranged between the front bulkhead 7 and edges of a first left-and-right connecting member 13A and a second left-and-right connecting member. The left-and-right connecting members have a first left-and-right connecting member 13A for connecting a pair of upper frames 9, and a second left-and-right connecting member for connecting a pair of lower frames 8, and the battery 14 is arranged between a pair of the lower frames 8 and a pair of the upper frames 9 in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
