PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress congestion of the network which may occur in the case where the number of terminal devices to be positioned is increased.SOLUTION: A positioning system according to an embodiment comprises a terminal device configured to be wearable on a walking body which moves within a predetermined area and a server device provided on the network and configured to be able to manage a position of the terminal device. The terminal device includes a sensor, a transmission unit and a transmission condition determination unit. The sensor detects movement information on movement of the walking body. The transmission unit transmits transmission data including the movement information to the server device through the network when a predetermined transmission condition is satisfied. The transmission condition determination unit changes a transmission condition according to the movement information so as to reduce the amount of data transmitted/received through the network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】測位対象の端末装置が増加した場合に発生し得るネットワークの混雑を抑制する。【解決手段】実施形態による測位システムは、所定のエリア内を移動する歩行体に装着可能に構成された端末装置と、ネットワーク上に設けられ、端末装置の位置を管理可能に構成されたサーバ装置とを備える。端末装置は、センサと、送信部と、送信条件決定部とを備える。センサは、歩行体の移動に関する移動情報を検出する。送信部は、所定の送信条件が満たされた場合、移動情報を含む送信データを、ネットワークを介してサーバ装置に送信する。送信条件決定部は、ネットワークで送受信されるデータ量がより小さくなるように、移動情報に応じて送信条件を変更する。【選択図】図2
