PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded member of a flame-resistant magnesium alloy, a manufacturing method thereof, a body structure of a railway vehicle, and a body structure of a traffic transportation means, allowing welding the flame-resistant magnesium alloy in an easy welding method.SOLUTION: An outside plate 3 is a part constituting a plate on a vehicle outer side of a body structure 2. The outside plate 3 is a welded member made of a flame-resistant magnesium alloy including calcium. The outside plate 3 is incorporated in the body structure 2 with respective end parts (respective joined surfaces) joined by a TIG welding (Tungsten inert gas arc welding) method. The flame-resistant magnesium alloy may be preferably, for example, a Mg-Al-Zn-Ca alloy or a Mg-Al-Mn-Ca alloy. For the Mg-Al-Zn-Ca alloy, the welding may be preferably done at a welding speed 200 mm/min. and an arc current between 90A and 140A, or at a welding speed 300 mm/min. and an arc current between 110A and 140A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】難燃性マグネシウム合金を簡単な溶接手法によって溶接することができる難燃性マグネシウム合金の溶接材とその製造方法、鉄道車両の構体及び交通輸送手段の構体を提供する。【解決手段】外板3は、構体2の車外側の板を構成する部分である。外板3は、カルシウムを含有する難燃性マグネシウム合金の溶接材である。外板3は、TIG溶接 (Tungsten inert gas arc welding) 法によって端部同士(接合面同士)が接合されて構体2に組み込まれる。難燃性マグネシウム合金は、例えば、Mg-Al-Zn-Ca合金又はMg-Al-Mn-Ca合金が好ましい。Mg-Al-Zn-Ca合金の場合には、溶接速度を200mm/min、アーク電流を90A以上140A以下で溶接、又は溶接速度を300mm/min、アーク電流を110A以上140A以下で溶接することが好ましい。【選択図】図2
