PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a driving force transmitting device which can improve assemblability.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a driving force transmitting device 1 includes: a first step in which a first assembly 11 having a pinion gear shaft 3 stored in a casing 6 is assembled thereto; a second step in which assembling members 95 are inserted into insertion holes 412b formed in a plurality of main inner clutch plates 412 and a second assembly 12 having a front housing 21 and the assembling members 95 connected so that driving force can be connected and disconnected is assembled thereto; and a third step in which when the first assembly 11 and the second assembly 12 are assembled thereto, the assembling members 95 are relatively moved so as to separate away from the casing 6, and the pinion gear shaft 3 is inserted into the insertion holes 412b of the plurality of main inner clutch plates 412, so as to connect the pinion gear 3 to the plurality of main inner clutch plates 412 not to be relatively rotatable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
