PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-configured negative-pressure type assistor capable of increasing responsibility and an assistance force at an initial stage of emergency braking.SOLUTION: A negative-pressure type assistor includes a hollow housing composed of a front shell and a rear shell, a movable partition wall partitioning an interior of the housing, a valve body formed with an opening, a valve mechanism provided with an atmospheric valve to provide communication and interruption between a pressure change chamber and the atmosphere. The rear shell has a flange part at an opening end that is large in diameter, a cylindrical part connecting to a small diameter part of the flange part, and an annular seal portion that is a protrusion formed of elastomer and provided between the cylindrical part and the valve body so as to contact with or separate from the valve body thereby provide communication and interruption between the atmosphere and the pressure change chamber. The valve body is provided with a tapered part formed at least partly on an outer peripheral surface, the tapered part reducing in diameter as it goes to the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 簡素な構造によって緊急制動初期における応答性及び助勢力を増大させることのできる負圧式倍力装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 フロントシェルとリヤシェルとからなる中空状のハウジングと、ハウジング内を区画する可動隔壁と、開口部が形成されたバルブボデーと、変圧室と大気との間を連通又は遮断する大気弁とを備えた弁機構と、を備えている負圧式倍力装置であって、リヤシェルは、開口端を大径部であるフランジ部を有するとともに、フランジ部の小径部に連なり小径部である円筒部を有し、円筒部とバルブボデーとの間に介装され、バルブボデーに当接又はバルブボデーから乖離することにより大気と変圧室とを遮断又は連通する突部が形成された弾性材からなる環状のシール部とを有し、バルブボデーの外周面の少なくとも一部に開口部に向かうにつれて縮径するテーパ部が形成されている。【選択図】 図2
