PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration cycle that enables a more simplified configuration and operation when either one of a compressor type refrigeration cycle or an adsorption heat pump type refrigeration cycle is selected as the refrigeration cycle to be used in accordance with detected environment load.SOLUTION: In a refrigeration cycle 2, a circulation passage 21 in which a refrigerant M1 circulates includes: a condenser 5 for cooling and liquefying the refrigerant M1 through heat exchange with a heat exchange medium M2; an evaporator 3 for vaporizing the liquefied refrigerant M1; and a compressor 4 for sucking the refrigerant M1 from the evaporator 3 side and discharging the compressed refrigerant M1 to the downstream side on which the condenser 5 is located. An adsorbent container 6 filled with an adsorbent S that enables adsorption/desorption of the refrigerant M1 in accordance with a temperature is disposed so as to enable heat exchange with the condenser 5. An on-off valve 65 is provided in piping 61 for connecting the adsorbent container 6 with a region 21a of the circulation passage 21 between the evaporator 3 and the compressor 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】検出した環境負荷に応じて、コンプレッサ式の冷凍サイクルと、吸着ヒートポンプ式の冷凍サイクルのうちの何れか一方を選択して使用する冷凍サイクルにおいて、構成と運用をより簡単にした冷凍サイクルを提供する。【解決手段】冷媒M1が循環する循環路21に、熱交換媒体M2との熱交換により冷媒M1を冷却して液化させるコンデンサ5と、液化した冷媒M1を気化させるエバポレータ3と、エバポレータ3側から冷媒M1を吸引してコンデンサ5が位置する下流側に圧縮した冷媒M1を吐出するコンプレッサ4と、が設けられた冷凍サイクル2において、温度に応じて冷媒M1の吸着/脱着が可能な吸着材Sが封入された吸着材容器6を、コンデンサ5との間で熱交換可能に配置し、吸着材容器6と、エバポレータ3とコンプレッサ4との間の循環路21の領域21aとを接続する配管61に、開閉弁65を設けた。【選択図】図1
