PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an impact by a stray capacitance.SOLUTION: A power supply monitor device is mounted on a vehicle. The power supply monitor device has a capacitor which is connected to an insulated power supply so as to be charged/discharged. The power supply monitor device detects a voltage of the capacitor charged on a charge path for detecting the deterioration in insulation resistance of the power supply. The power supply monitor device estimates stray capacitance present in the vehicle on the basis of a period of time for which a differential value of consecutive voltages continuously detected for a predetermined time becomes less than a threshold value and/or an insulation resistance value of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
