PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake temperature control device for an internal combustion engine capable of curbing an increase in intake pressure loss.SOLUTION: An intake temperature control device for an internal combustion engine controls a temperature of intake introduced into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The intake temperature control device comprises: a first Peltier element 40 and a second Peltier element 50 which are arranged in an intake passage 20; and an intake temperature control section which controls energization states of respective Peltier elements 40 and 50. The Peltier elements 40 and 50, each, are arranged on a resin-made intervening member 23 which is coupled between a cylinder head 13 and an intake manifold 22 of the internal combustion engine and is a member constituting the intake passage 20. A first concave section 27 and a second concave section 28 are arranged on a passage face 26 of the intervening member 23 constituting the intake passage 20. The Peltier elements 40 and 50, each, are embedded in the first and the second concave sections 27 and 28, respectively, so that an exposure face 46 exposed to the intake passage 20 is flush with the passage face 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】吸気の圧力損失の増大を抑えることができる内燃機関の吸気温度調節装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関の吸気温度調節装置は、内燃機関の燃焼室に導入される吸気の温度を調節する。この吸気温度調節装置は、吸気通路20に配設された第1ペルチェ素子40及び第2ペルチェ素子50と、各ペルチェ素子40,50への通電態様を制御する吸気温度調節部とを有している。各ペルチェ素子40,50は、内燃機関のシリンダヘッド13と吸気マニホールド22との間に連結されて吸気通路20を構成する一部材である樹脂製の介在部材23に配設されており、介在部材23における吸気通路20を構成する通路面26には、第1凹部27及び第2凹部28が形成されている。各ペルチェ素子40,50は、吸気通路20に露出している露出面46が通路面26と面一になるように各凹部27,28に埋設されている。【選択図】図2
