PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet motor having variable properties.SOLUTION: Multiple high-coercivity magnets 124 are disposed at first positions r1 radially inside of or on a surface of a rotor core 122 while interposing a space 128 therebetween in a circumferential direction. Multiple low-coercivity magnets 126 are provided at second positions r2 radially inside of or on the surface of the rotary core 122. Each of the multiple low-coercivity magnets 126 is disposed at a position in the circumferential direction corresponding to the space 128. The multiple high-coercivity magnets 124 are magnetized in the circumferential direction and polarities of the adjacent high-coercivity magnets 124 are reverse. The multiple low-coercivity magnets 126 are magnetized in the radial direction, and their polarities are switchable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
