PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer member for a vehicle which is excellent in an absorption efficiency of collision energy.SOLUTION: A cushioning pad 10 is located on a rear face of a door trim 4 which is so mounted as to cover a door inner panel 3 and absorbs collision energy in such a manner that the pad received a collision load F and is collapse-deformed. The cushioning pad 10 has: a square cylindrical peripheral side wall 11; an end wall 12 which closes one opening in the peripheral side wall 11; and a flange part 13 which is projected from a peripheral edge part of the other opening in the peripheral side wall 11 and constitutes a contact surface of the door trim 4. In this case, each wall surface, which constitutes the peripheral side wall 11, has a curved surface shape of which curvature is set over a span from the flange part 13 to the end wall 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】衝突エネルギーの吸収効率に優れる車両用緩衝部材を提供する。【解決手段】緩衝パッド10は、ドアインナパネル3を覆って装着されるドアトリム4の裏面に配置され、衝突荷重Fを受けて圧潰変形することにより衝突エネルギーを吸収する。この緩衝パッド10は、角筒状の周側壁11と、周側壁11における一方の開口を閉塞する端壁12と、周側壁11における他方の開口の周縁部から外側に向かって張り出され、ドアトリム4との当接面を構成するフランジ部13と、を有している。この場合において、周側壁11を構成する各壁面は、フランジ部13から端壁12にわたって曲率が設定された曲面形状を備える。【選択図】図2
