PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll connector which has a high data transfer speed.SOLUTION: A roll connector 1 gives and receives data between a stationery part 2 and a rotary part 3 by optical communication such that light is given and received between a light-receiving body 6 provided on the stationery part 2 and a light-emitting body 5 provided on the rotary part 3. The cylindrical rotary part 3 is coaxially provided in the cylindrical stationery part 2. The light-emitting body 5 radiates light toward to a radial direction outer side of the rotary part 3.
