PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable total equipment efficiency of a vehicle for each notch command to be recognized at a glance by an operation notch command from a cab master controller while reducing a calculation load with a simple configuration, urge a motorman to perform an operation at a point where the total equipment efficiency of the vehicle is high, and raise a degree of freedom for the motorman to perform the operation at a point where the total equipment efficiency of the vehicle is high.SOLUTION: A display device installed in a driving cab of a railway vehicle generates operation efficiency on a driving device of the railway vehicle based on input information, the input information being operation notch command information from a master controller installed in the driving cab and operated by a motorman, vehicle weight information detected by a vehicle weight detector, and vehicle speed information detected by a speed detector for detecting a speed of the railway vehicle, and performs display by changing relationships between the operation notch command information and the operation efficiency according to a change in the input information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】簡易な構成で演算負荷を低減しながら、運転台主幹制御器からの運転ノッチ指令によって、各ノッチ指令に対する車両の総合機器効率を一目でわかるようにし、運転士が車両の総合機器効率が高い点で動作させるように促し、運転士が車両の総合機器効率が高い点で動作させる自由度を高くすること。【解決手段】鉄道車両の運転台に設置される表示装置であって、運転台に設置されて運転士により操作される主幹制御器からの運転ノッチ指令情報と、車両重量検知器で検出された車両重量情報と、鉄道車両の速度を検出する速度検出器で検出された車両速度情報を入力情報として、当該入力情報に基づいて鉄道車両の駆動装置の動作効率を生成し、入力情報の変化に応じて、運転ノッチ指令情報と動作効率との関係を変更して表示する。【選択図】図1
