PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reception device and power transmission device, capable of highly precisely identifying a type of foreign matter existing between the power reception device and the power transmission device.SOLUTION: In a vehicle 100, an ECU 160 temporarily determines foreign matter, using a captured image of an imaging device 120 before power reception start by a power reception part 110 and determines the presence/absence of foreign matter using a detection result of a depth detection part 140. The ECU 160, upon determining that foreign matter exists, identifies a type of foreign matter using an output of a temperature sensor 130 before and after power reception start by the power reception part 110. Thus, the vehicle 100 can highly precisely identify a type of foreign matter, such as animals and metals, existing between the vehicle 100 and a power transmission device 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】受電装置と送電装置との間に存在する異物の種類を高精度に特定することができる受電装置及び送電装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両100においてECU160は、受電部110による受電開始前における撮像装置120の撮像画像を用いて異物を仮確定し、奥行き検知部140の検知結果を用いて異物の有無を確定する。そして、ECU160は,異物が存在することが確定すると、受電部110による受電開始前後における温度センサ130の出力を用いて異物の種類を特定する。これにより、車両100によれば、車両100と送電装置200との間に存在する異物の種類(動物、金属、その他)を高精度に特定することができる。【選択図】図1
