PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface shape measurement method capable of heightening measurement accuracy by detecting and deleting without omission, only a noise from data measured by a non-contact type displacement meter.SOLUTION: A surface shape measurement method includes a measuring step S2 for measuring, discretely as much as one circle of a tread part, distance data from a displacement meter to the surface of the tread part by the displacement meter, a grouping step S4 for dividing and grouping the distance data measured by the displacement meter, relative to each measurement section in the tire circumferential direction determined beforehand, and a noise removal step S5 for removing a noise from the distance data in each group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
