PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for detecting welding of a relay circuit in a fuel battery system.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system includes a boost converter having a first capacitor; a relay circuit which is disposed between a boost converter and a power control unit, and includes a first main relay, a second main relay paired with the first main relay, a pre-charge relay connected in parallel to the second main relay, and a limiting resistor connected in series with the pre-charge relay; and a control device for opening the first main relay to change the pre-charge relay from an open state to a closed state when start-up and termination of the fuel battery system is performed by a predetermined frequency or more within a predetermined time of period at the start-up time of the fuel battery system, and then detects welding of the first main relay when the potential of a first capacitor varies to a preset potential or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】燃料電池システムにおけるリレー回路の溶着を検出するために要する時間を短縮する。【解決手段】燃料電池システムは、第1のコンデンサを有する昇圧コンバータと;昇圧コンバータとパワーコントロールユニットと間に配置されるリレー回路であって、第1メインリレーと、第1メインリレーと対をなす第2メインリレーと、第2メインリレーに並列に接続されるプリチャージリレーと、プリチャージリレーと直列に接続される制限抵抗と、を有するリレー回路と;燃料電池システムの起動時に、燃料電池システムの起動と終了とが所定の時間以内に所定の回数以上行なわれていた場合に、第1メインリレーを開いて、プリチャージリレーを開いた状態から閉じた状態へと変化させた後に、第1のコンデンサの電位が予め設定された所定の電位以下に変化した場合、第1メインリレーの溶着を検出する制御装置と、を備える。【選択図】図1
