PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting device for railroad carriages which can melt sticking snow effectively and can reduce adhesion of snow.SOLUTION: A snow-melting device comprises a flat plate part 41, multiple fins 42 formed integrally with the flat plate part 41 and protruding from the flat plate part 41, and a tape-shaped heater 5 for giving heat to the flat plate part 41 and the multiple fins 42. The tape-shaped heater 5 is arranged so as to be held between neighboring ones of the fins 42 in a position at which the width direction of the tape coincides with the protruding direction of the fin 42, and to contact the flat plate part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
