PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure and humidity detection device in which the configuration is simplified by suppressing the sensor number.SOLUTION: A pressure and humidity detection device of detecting the pressure change and humidity change in a vehicle seat includes: a cloth sensor which detects pressure and humidity in a vehicle seat as the electrostatic capacitance of an induction point; and a determination part which determines that the prescribed pressure change occurs in the vehicle seat and the prescribed humidity change occurs in the vehicle seat on the basis of the electrostatic capacitance detected by the cloth sensor. The determination part determines that the prescribed pressure change occurs on the basis of the fact that the total sum of the electrostatic capacitances of one or more prescribed induction points is changed at the time change rate having an absolute value exceeding a threshold, and determines that the prescribed humidity change occurs on the basis of the fact that the total sum of the electrostatic capacitances is changed at the time change rate having the absolute value equal to or less than the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
