PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem and so forth which, if a driver forgets that an automobile is in an eco-stop mode, the automobile may move forward unexpectedly when a brake pedal is released.SOLUTION: An automobile is operable automatically to switch off and subsequently restart drive means during a driving cycle to thereby reduce one or more prescribed operation parameters. The automobile may be placed, by brake means operated by a driver, in an eco-stop condition in which the automobile is held in a stationary state and the drive means is turned off, and the automobile is operable automatically to restart the drive means when the driver signals release of the brake means. The automobile comprises means for detecting departure of the driver from the automobile, and in the event that departure of the driver is detected when the automobile is in the eco-stop condition, the automobile is configured not to restart the drive means when the driver signals release of the brake means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】エコ・ストップモードにあることを運転者が忘れている場合に、ブレーキペダルが解放されると自動車が予想外に前進し得る問題等を解決する。【解決手段】自動車は、運転サイクルの間に駆動手段をオフに切り替えてその後に再始動するように自動的に操作可能であり、これにより1又は複数の規定の操作パラメータを減らし、運転者が操作するブレーキ手段により、自動車が静止状態に保持されて駆動手段がオフとなるエコ・ストップ状況に置かれることができ、運転者がブレーキ手段の解放を合図するときに、駆動手段を再始動させるために自動的に操作可能であり、運転者の自動車からの出発を検知するための手段を備え、運転者の出発が検知された場合において、自動車がエコ・ストップ状況にある場合に、運転者がブレーキ手段の解放を合図するときに、自動車が駆動手段を再始動させないように構成される。【選択図】図1
