PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique for improving accuracy of determination by reducing the influence from disturbance light in a technique of determining whether or not a door closing car side lamp is turned on by image processing.SOLUTION: A determination device 10 determines turning-on of a car side lamp L on the basis of a photographed image of an imaging device C for imaging a car side lamp L provided on a prescribed car side position of a train T that stops at a fixed position of a station. Concretely, the determination device obtains a saturation-emphasized image by emphasizing the presence/absence of the saturation of the photographed image, extracts a candidate partial image that may be a portion of the car side lamp L on the basis of a saturation component image of the saturation-emphasized image and determines whether or not the car side lamp L is turned on by comparing the hue of the candidate partial image with a predetermined color condition based on the hue of the lighting color of the car side lamp L. The emphasis of the presence/absence of the saturation may be, for example, binarization of the maximum value and the minimum value of the saturation of the photographed image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】戸閉め車側灯が点灯しているか否かを画像処理で判定する技術において、外乱光による影響を低減させて判定の精度を向上させる新たな技術を提供すること。【解決手段】判定装置10は、駅の定位置に停止する列車Tの所定の車側位置に設けられた車側灯Lを撮影する撮影装置Cの撮影画像に基づいて、車側灯Lの点灯を判定する。具体的には、撮影画像の彩度の有無を強調化して彩度強調化画像を得る。そして、彩度強調化画像の彩度成分画像に基づいて、車側灯Lの部分と思しき候補部分画像を抽出し、その候補部分画像の色相を、予め定められた車側灯Lの点灯色の色相に基づく色条件と比較することで車側灯Lが点灯しているか否かを判定する。彩度の有無の強調化は、例えば、撮影画像の彩度を最高値と最低値との二値化とすることができる。【選択図】図7
