PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery warm-up device which can complete charging and warmup of a battery before beginning startup of a vehicle, while suppressing the electricity cost, in an electric car.SOLUTION: When a charger (19) is connected with an external power supply (20), and a startup schedule time is set by a startup time setting section (31), a charge control section (30a) calculates a charge start time when charging is completed at the startup schedule time, according to the SOC of a high voltage battery (12) and the battery temperature (S1-S4), starts charging by the external power supply when it is the charge start time (S5, 7), a warm-up control section starts warm-up of the high voltage battery (12) by means of a PTC heater (13) simultaneously (S6), and ends warm-up of the battery when the battery temperature falls in a predetermined operating temperature range (S8, 9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電気自動車において、電費を抑えつつ車両の始動開始までにバッテリの充電及び暖機を完了させることができるバッテリ暖機装置を提供すること。【解決手段】充電器(19)に外部電源(20)が接続され、始動時刻設定部(31)により始動予定時刻が設定されている場合に、充電制御部(30a)は、高電圧バッテリ(12)のSOC及びバッテリ温度に応じて、始動予定時刻に充電が完了する充電開始時間を算出し(S1〜S4)、当該充電開始時間となったときに外部電源による充電を開始し(S5、7)、暖機制御部はこれと同時にPTCヒータ(13)による高電圧バッテリ(12)の暖機を開始して(S6)、バッテリ温度が前記所定の作動温度範囲内に入ったときに前記バッテリの暖機を終了する(S8、9)。【選択図】図2
