PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device that can reliably record necessary recording information while suppressing unnecessary power consumption.SOLUTION: An information recording device comprises a camera part 1 that acquires image information and an impact detection part 2 that detects acceleration applied thereto, and when the acceleration is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, starts recording of image information in a non-volatile part RO. Meanwhile, when power supply from an external power source EB is stopped, the information recording device stops recording of necessary information in the non-volatile part RO after a predetermined standby time elapses. At this time, if acceleration equal to or larger than the predetermined threshold is detected within the standby time, the information recording device extends the standby time and records the image information in the non-volatile part RO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】不要な電力消費を抑制しつつ、必要な記録情報を確実に記録することが可能な情報記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像情報を取得するカメラ部1と、印加される加速度を検出する衝撃検知部2と、を備え、加速度が既定閾値以上であるとき、画像情報の不揮発部ROへの記録を開始する。一方、外部電源EBからの電力供給が停止した後は、既定の待機時間経過時に不揮発部ROへの必要な情報の記録を停止する。このとき、待機時間内に既定閾値以上の加速度が検出されたとき、その待機時間を延長して画像情報を不揮発部ROへ記録する。【選択図】図2
