PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional construction comprising multi number brakes that there is a possibility of movement of a cage in a case where one brake is released for maintenance and in a case of deficiency in pressing force due to aged deterioration.SOLUTION: There is provide a brake for an elevator, which comprises: detecting means detecting pressing force of at least two brakes arranged on an elevator winding machine; pressing force calculation means calculating result of the pressing force detecting means; detecting means detecting an action instruction signal of the brakes; action instruction determining means calculating and determining result of the action instruction signal detecting means; comparison means comparing detection result of the pressing force detecting means and the action instruction detecting means; elevator controlling means controlling an elevator action connected to the comparison means; and controlling means controlling an action of the brake connected to the comparison means. The brakes have a braking force which the elevator is stopped and held even if at least one is released and another brake provides the braking force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来の複数ブレーキの構成では,保守のためにひとつのブレーキを開放した場合に,経年変化により押付力が不足した場合,乗りかごが移動する可能性があった。【解決手段】すくなくとも2つ以上のブレーキをエレベータ巻上機に設置し,前記ブレーキの押付力を検出する検出手段と,前記押付力検出手段の結果を演算する押付力演算手段と,前記ブレーキの動作指令信号を検出する検出手段と,前記動作指令信号検出手段の結果を演算および判定する動作指令判定手段と,前記押付力検出手段と動作指令検出手段の検出結果を比較する比較手段と,記比較手段と接続されたエレベータ動作を制御するエレベータ制御手段と,前記比較手段と接続されたブレーキの動作を制御する制御手段を有し,前記ブレーキは,少なくともひとつを開放しても他方のブレーキでエレベータを停止および保持可能である制動力を有することを特徴とするエレベータ用ブレーキ。【選択図】 図1
