PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved non-pneumatic tire that has all features of pneumatic tires without the drawback of the need for air inflation.SOLUTION: A structurally supported tire includes a ground contacting annular tread portion, an annular shear band 300, and a reinforcement layer 400 that extends radially inward forming sidewalls and is formed of a strip of material wound in a geodesic pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
