PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a shift device from becoming large in constitution and increasing in the number of components.SOLUTION: A shift device 10 comprises a knob 12 rotated to change in shift position, and an operation mechanism 20 having a motor 26. The knob 12 is at least restricted from rotating or released from being restricted when the motor 26 is driven, and the knob 12 has its shift position changed to a predetermined shift position when the motor 26 is driven. Thus the present shift device 10 can restrict the knob 12 from rotating or release the knob from being restricted and also can change the shift position of the knob 12 to the predetermined position by driving the common motor 26. Consequently, the shift device 10 can have its constitution simplified, and the shift device 10 also can be suppressed from becoming large in constitution and from increasing number of components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】体格の大型化及び部品点数の増加を抑制する。【解決手段】シフト装置10は、回転されてシフト位置が変更されるノブ12と、モータ26を有する作動機構20と、を備えている。モータ26が駆動されると、ノブ12の回転の規制及び規制解除の少なくとも一方が行われ、また、モータ26が駆動されると、ノブ12のシフト位置が所定シフト位置に変更される。このように、本シフト装置10では、共通のモータ26の駆動によって、ノブ12の回転の規制及び規制解除の少なくとも一方を行うことができると共に、ノブ12のシフト位置を所定シフト位置に変更できる。これにより、シフト装置10の構成を簡単にでき、シフト装置10の体格の大型化及び部品点数の増加を抑制することができる。【選択図】図4
