PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain lubrication at sliding parts, which is a problem peculiar to a cycloidal speed reducer of an in-wheel motor drive unit.SOLUTION: An internal space of a decelerating part (B) accommodates revolving members (26a, 26b) that perform a revolution motion about an axis (O) of an input shaft of the deceleration part, are exposed to an oil atmosphere, and are attached to the outer peripheries of eccentric parts (25a, 25b) in a relatively rotatable manner, and are rotated with the rotation of the deceleration part input shaft (25), and plates (29, 46a, 46b) which slidably contact end faces of the revolving members. Numerous recesses (26d) for holding oil droplets are formed on at least one of the end faces of the revolving members and the end faces of the plates which are brought into sliding contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
