PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure determination system of a button type shifter capable of improving performance and reliability in failure diagnosis of a shift button.SOLUTION: A fault determination system of a button-type shifter includes: a base having a large number of contact points for each of a plurality of shift buttons; and a control portion receiving contact signals of the contact points and determining occurrence of abnormality in the shift button when any one of the large number of the contact points is not sensed or is stuck when the shift button is depressed. The plurality of shift buttons are constituted of P-rane, R-range, N-range and D-range. The contact points are arranged in at least three locations within an area of the shift buttons. The control portion determines whether the three contact points are faulty or not, and when any one of three contact points is not sensed when depressing the shift button, checks the situation as a faulty count, and determines whether the other two contact points are faulty or not, when the failure count is accumulated and the accumulated failure count reaches a stored failure determination set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】変速ボタンの故障診断の性能及び信頼性を向上させるボタン式変速タイプの故障判断システムを提供する。【解決手段】複数の変速ボタンのそれぞれに対して多数の接点ポイントを有するベースと、接点ポイントの接点信号を受け取り、変速ボタンの押下時に多数の接点ポイントのいずれかが認識されないか、或いは固着されたと認識される場合、変速ボタンに異常が発生したと判断する制御部とを含み、複数の変速ボタンはP段、R段、N段、及びD段で構成され、接点ポイントは、変速ボタンの範囲内で少なくとも3つの地点に分布され、制御部は、3つの接点ポイントに対して異常か否かを判断し、変速ボタンの押下時に3つの接点ポイントのいずれかが認識されない場合、ミスカウントとしてチェックし、ミスカウントが累積して、保存されている故障判断設定値に達した場合、他の2つの接点ポイントに対して異常か否かを判断する。【選択図】図1
