PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce strength poverty of a weld part of both sides of vehicle longer direction of a cap beam in an underframe structure that the cap beam is joined by welding from downside to a part of a floorboard of a double skin construction.SOLUTION: An underframe structure of a railroad carriage comprises a floorboard and a cap beam. Edges of both sides of a vehicle longer direction of the cap beam upper skin is welded to an undersurface of a floor lower skin. Multiple cap beam ribs include multiple first cap beam ribs. The first cap beam rib is arranged at a position that the virtual extension line overlaps with a virtual extension line of the floor rib in an area including the floor lower skin and the cap beam upper skin seeing from the vehicle longer direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
