PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for estimating a battery residual amount, capable of improving estimation accuracy of a battery residual amount than ever.SOLUTION: A battery residual amount estimation system 1 includes: a connection detector unit 15, a connection equipment identification unit 17, a memory 16 and a resource determination unit 18 for battery residual amount estimation. The connection detector unit 15 detects a connection between a battery pack 10 and a charger 30. The connection equipment identification unit 17 identifies connection equipment. The memory 16 preserves the information of a sensor 11 and a CPU 12, which are used for the estimation of the battery residual amount of the battery pack 10, and the information of a sensor 31 and a CPU 32 which are used for the estimation of the battery residual amount of the charger 30. Based on the information of the connection equipment identified by the connection equipment identification unit 17, the resource determination unit 18 for battery residual amount estimation determines the sensors 11, 31 and the CPUs 12, 32 which are preserved in the memory 16 and used for the estimation of the battery residual amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】従来よりもバッテリ残量の推定精度を向上させることが可能なバッテリ残量推定システムおよびバッテリ残量推定方法を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリ残量推定システム1は、接続検出部15、接続機器特定部17、メモリ16、バッテリ残量推定資源決定部18を備えている。接続検出部15は、バッテリパック10と充電装置30との接続を検出する。接続機器特定部17は、接続機器を特定する。メモリ16は、バッテリパック10が有するバッテリ残量の推定に用いられるセンサ11、CPU12に関する情報および充電装置30が有するバッテリ残量の推定に用いられるセンサ31、CPU32に関する情報を保存する。バッテリ残量推定資源決定部18は、接続機器特定部17において特定された接続機器に関する情報に基づいて、メモリ16に保存されバッテリ残量の推定に用いられるセンサ11,31およびCPU12,32を決定する。【選択図】図2
