PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prompt a driver to take a rest in suitable timing.SOLUTION: A digital tachograph 30 is configured to: acquire position information and speed information on a vehicle at predetermined intervals of time; refer to a storage unit stored with position information of a starting point of an upslope or downslope of a road and then specify whether the vehicle is traveling up or down on the slop at a point where the acquired position information coincide with position information; when the vehicle is traveling up on the slop, acquire the time up to detection of a speed increasing state from a difference of speed information in every predetermined time after entering the slope; when the vehicle is traveling down on the slop, acquire the time up to detection of a speed decreasing state from a difference of speed information in every predetermined time after entering the slope; and output an alert when the acquired time is equal to or longer than the predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】適切なタイミングで休憩を促すこと。【解決手段】デジタコ30は、車両の位置情報と速度情報とを所定時間毎に取得し、道路上で上り坂又は下り坂のいずれかの坂道が始まる地点の位置情報を記憶する記憶部を参照して、取得した位置情報と位置情報が一致する地点の坂道から車両が坂道を上る方向に走行しているか又は車両が坂道を下る方向に走行しているかを特定し、車両が坂道を上る方向に走行している場合には坂道に進入してから所定時間毎の速度情報の差分から速度が上昇する状態を検出するまでの時間を取得し、車両が坂道を下る方向に走行している場合には坂道に進入してから所定時間毎の速度情報の差分から速度が減少する状態を検出するまでの時間を取得し、取得した時間が所定の時間以上である場合に、アラートを出力する。【選択図】図2
