PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee action type suspension device in which a stress of a compression coil spring for the suspension device can be substantially equalized.SOLUTION: A knee action type suspension device 11 comprises: an arm member 20 which is so supported as to be capable of oscillating in a vertical direction with a pivot 31 provided on an arm fitting part 30 of a vehicle body as a center; a compression coil spring 21 which is located between a lower spring seat 22 and an upper spring seat 23; a shock absorber 24 and so on. The compression coil spring 21 is extended and contracted between a full rebound state (maximum extension) and a full bump state (maximum compression) according to a magnitude of a load added onto the vehicle body. An element wire 40 of the compression coil spring 21 has a large diameter element wire part 40a which is provided on a pivot side portion 21a on a side near the pivot 31, a small diameter element wire part 40b which is provided on an anti-pivot side portion 21b on a far side from the pivot 31, and a line diameter change part 40c. An element wire diameter d1 of the large diameter element wire part 40a is larger than an element wire diameter d2 of the small diameter element wire part 40b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】懸架装置用圧縮コイルばねの応力を均等化に近付けることができるニーアクションタイプの懸架装置を提供する。【解決手段】ニーアクションタイプの懸架装置11は、車体のアーム取付部30に設けられたピボット31を中心に上下方向に揺動自在に支持されたアーム部材20と、下側のばね座22と上側のばね座23との間に配置された圧縮コイルばね21と、ショックアブソーバ24等を備えている。圧縮コイルばね21は、車体に加わる荷重の大きさに応じて、フルリバウンド状態(最大伸張)とフルバンプ状態(最大圧縮)との間で伸縮する。圧縮コイルばね21の素線40は、ピボット31に近い側のピボット側部分21aに設けられた大径素線部40aと、ピボット31から遠い側の反ピボット側部分21bに設けられたに小径素線部40bと、線径変化部40cとを有している。大径素線部40aの素線径d1は小径素線部40bの素線径d2より大きい。【選択図】図2
