PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator for an automobile capable of generating power by rotation of a tire during traveling.SOLUTION: A power generator 1 for an automobile includes: hydraulic cylinders 10a and 10b which have cylinder tubes 11a and 11b disposed in a tire installation section of a wheel and pistons 12a and 12b which are contracted by deformation of the tire and are extended by restoration; branch sections 20a and 20b which are connected to the hydraulic cylinders 10a and 10b; fixed discharge pipe lines 31b and 33b and fixed suction pipe lines 32b and 34b which are connected via a rotary joint 50 disposed in the wheel in rotation discharge pipe lines 31a and 33a and rotation suction pipe lines 32a and 34a which are branched from the branch sections 20a and 20b; a hydraulic motor 40 to which the fixed discharge pipe lines 31b and 33b are connected; a power generator 41 which has an input shaft connected to a drive shaft 40b of the hydraulic motor 40; and a hydraulic oil tank 42 to which the hydraulic motor 40 is connected and the fixed suction pipe lines 32b and 34b are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
