PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve control device for bringing the output of a linear control valve closer to a target while considering a hysteresis.SOLUTION: A valve control device comprises: a correction part for correcting the hysteresis of the output of a control valve in accordance with the increasing/decreasing direction of a control output value; a detection part for detecting an actual output value to said control valve corresponding to the control output value; and a prohibition part for prohibiting a correction by the correction part till the difference between a control output value and said actual output value falls within a predetermined range after the increasing/decreasing direction of the control output value was switched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
