PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular propulsion shaft capable of sealing the interior of an opening part with a simple constitution and reliably carrying out quick retreat of an engine or the like.SOLUTION: A vehicular propulsion shaft 100 includes: a hole spline member 1 which has an opening part 1b and is formed of a hole spline 12 on an inner circumferential surface 1a; a shaft spline member 2 which is formed of a shaft spline 22 on an outer circumferential surface 20a and is extended from the opening part 1b to the outer side by spline fitting; recessed parts 11, 21 which are formed on at least one side of the inner circumferential surface 1a close to the opening part 1b rather than the hole spline 12 and the outer circumferential surface 20a close to the opening part 1b rather than the shaft spline 22 and are extended to the circumferential direction; and a seal part 3 which gets into the recessed parts 11, 21 and seals a part between the inner circumferential surface 1a and the outer circumferential surface 20a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】簡易な構成により開口部内をシールし、エンジン等の速やかな後退を確実に達成できる車両用推進軸を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る車両用推進軸100は、開口部1bを有し、内周面1aに孔スプライン12が形成された孔スプライン部材1と、外周面20aに軸スプライン22が形成され、スプライン嵌合により開口部1bから外側に延びる軸スプライン部材2と、孔スプライン12よりも開口部1b寄りの内周面1aと軸スプライン22よりも開口部1b寄りの外周面20aとの少なくとも一方に形成され、周方向に延在する凹部11,21と、凹部11,21内に入り込み、内周面1aと外周面20aとの間をシールするシール部3と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
