PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit deterioration of performance in noise suppression during an up-shift transition of a mechanical shift mechanism.SOLUTION: During an up-shift transition of an automatic transmission, an engine revolution speed is controlled at a during-shift rattling-noise prevention final target engine revolution speed NESFTGARA that is higher than a post-up-shift rattling-noise prevention engine revolution speed NETSFTGARA by a given value (equivalent to an increase in target engine revolution speed), thus suppressing or preventing the engine revolution speed from becoming lower than the post-up-shift rattling-noise prevention engine revolution speed NETSFTGARA even when the engine revolution speed is decreased during the up-shift transition. It is then possible to limit deterioration of performance in noise suppression during an up-shift transition of the automatic transmission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】機械式変速機構のアップシフト過渡中に異音抑制の性能が低下することを抑制する。【解決手段】自動変速機のアップシフト過渡中には、アップシフト後のガラ音回避エンジン回転速度NETSFTGARAよりも所定値(目標エンジン回転速度増加分)高い回転速度である変速中のガラ音回避最終目標エンジン回転速度NESFTGARAに、エンジン回転速度が制御されるので、アップシフト過渡中にエンジン回転速度が低下しても、エンジン回転速度がアップシフト後のガラ音回避エンジン回転速度NETSFTGARAよりも低くなることが抑制又は回避される。よって、自動変速機のアップシフト過渡中に異音抑制の性能が低下することを抑制することができる。【選択図】図6
