PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of kinds of part items by making gears common in use, in a parallel gear shaft reduction gear of a two-motor vehicle drive unit.SOLUTION: A two-motor vehicle drive unit comprises two sets of reduction gears 2L, 2R which independently decelerate the rotation of two sets of electric motors, and transmit drive forces to drive wheel. The reduction gears 2L, 2R are composed of: input shafts 23S to which rotation is transmitted from a motor shaft 12a; input gears 23a having shaft holes to which the input shafts 23S are inserted and fixed; output shafts 25S for transmitting the drive forces to the drive wheels; output gears 25a having shaft holes to which the output shafts 25S are inserted and fixed; intermediate shafts 24S arranged between the input shaft 23S and the output shaft 25S; large-diameter gears 24a having shaft holes to which the intermediate shafts are inserted and fixed, and engaged with the input gears 23a; and small-diameter gears 24b having shaft holes to which the intermediate shafts 24S are inserted and fixed, and engaged with the output gears 25a. The input gears 23a and the small-diameter gears 24b of the intermediate shafts 24S are constituted of gears having the same shapes, and the large-diameter gears 24a of the intermediate shaft 24S and the output gears 25a are constituted of gears having the same shapes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】2モータ車両駆動装置の平行歯車軸減速機において、歯車を共通化して部品の種類を削減する。【解決手段】2基の電動モータの回転を個別に減速して駆動力を駆動輪に伝達する2基の減速機2L、2Rを備え、減速機2L、2Rは、モータ軸12aから回転が伝達される入力軸23Sと、入力軸23Sが挿通固定される軸穴を有する入力歯車23aと、駆動輪に駆動力を伝達する出力軸25Sと、出力軸25Sが挿通固定される軸穴を有する出力歯車25aと、入力軸25Sと出力軸25Sとの間に設けられる中間軸24Sと、中間軸が挿通固定される軸穴を有し、入力歯車23aに噛み合う大径歯車24aと、中間軸24Sが挿通固定される軸穴を有し、出力歯車25aに噛み合う小径歯車24bとからなり、入力歯車23aと中間軸24Sの小径歯車24bを、同形の歯車によって構成し、中間軸24Sの大径歯車24aと出力歯車25aを、同形の歯車によって構成した。【選択図】図2
