PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that makes air less likely to stay in a case where a cooler with a U-shaped passage is used by its being disposed at an angle.SOLUTION: A cooler 10 disclosed in the specification comprises a U-shaped passage 15 connecting an inlet 5a and outlet 5b for liquid refrigerant. The inlet 5a and outlet 5b are arranged side by side in a horizontal direction, and the cooler is used by its being disposed at an angle such that the U-shaped folded portion of the passage 15 is higher than the inlet 5a and outlet 5b. In the passage 15 of the cooler 10, a cross-section intersecting the direction of flow of the liquid refrigerant has an oblong flat shape. The passage 15 is sectioned into a plurality of parallel narrow passages from the inside to the outside of the U-shaped curve. In the cooler 10 described above, projections 16 are provided on the narrow passages inside the curve. The projections 16 increase passage resistances in the narrow passages inside the curve, and consequently increases the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing in the narrow passages outside the curve, so that air is easily forced out of the passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】本明細書は、U字の流路を有している冷却器を傾斜配置にて用いる場合に空気が溜まり難い構造を提供する。【解決手段】本明細書が開示する冷却器10は、液体冷媒の流入口5aと流出口5bをつなぐU字の流路15を備えており、流入口5aと流出口5bが水平方向に並んでいるとともに、流路15のU字の折り返し部分が流入口5aと流出口5bよりも高くなるように傾斜配置されて用いられる。その冷却器10の流路15は、液体冷媒の流れ方向に交差する断面が横長の扁平形状である。その流路15は、U字のカーブの内側から外側にかけて複数の平行な狭流路に区画されている。上記の冷却器10では、カーブ内側の狭流路に突起16が設けられている。突起16がカーブ内側の狭流路の流路抵抗を高め、カーブ外側の狭流路を流れる冷媒流量が増え、空気が流路から追い出され易くなる。【選択図】図2
