PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for controlling the amount of traffic, capable of achieving reduction in maintenance cost of the whole structure in a structure having a plurality of lanes provided in parallel.SOLUTION: A system for controlling the amount of traffic for a structure having a plurality of lanes provided in parallel, comprises: measurement means 12 that measures values of damage-estimation parameters positively correlated with the amount of energy caused by loads applied on the lanes, and a frequency of each value of the damage-estimation parameters for each lane; recording means 18 that records the values of the damage-estimation parameters and the frequency of each value of the damage-estimation parameters for each lane; estimation means 20 that estimates a damage for each lane on the basis of the values of the damage-estimation parameters and the frequency of each value of the damage-estimation parameters; and guide means 22 that guides a moving object 102 by which passes, to a specified lane of the plurality of lanes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
