PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a user to comprehend the timing of bringing a portable machine close to an on-vehicle machine.SOLUTION: A portable machine includes: a first communication control part for returning a first response signal for a first request signal; and a second communication control part for returning a second response signal when supplied with power by electromagnetic induction by the second request signal. An on-vehicle machine includes: a first verification control part for performing first verification control to transmit the first request signal and verify an identification code of the first response signal; a second verification control part for performing second verification control to transmit the second request signal and verify an identification code of the second response signal; and a report part for reporting, to a user of a vehicle, a switching from the first verification control to the second verification control when a condition for the switch is established after the first verification control is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
